It’s one of those friend groups where you can take a nap during the hang and somebody gives you a blanket.

These bigger mugs are 3.5 in tall and this piece is finished with a soda ash wash, preserving the texture and surface of the clay with no clear glaze. The piece is still food safe and vitrified, but the surface will be somewhat rougher than other finishes.

Each piece is unique and handmade, there will be small variations on the glaze and surface. Each piece is thrown on a potters wheel and finished by hand. The images are carved with an exacto knife and inlaid with a black underglaze. I then paint and carve the surface to develop the image.

Dishwasher and microwave safe - pieces are fired to ^6 in an electric kiln.
